Dr. Hill uses only tooth colored composite resin filling material.  The beauty, strength, and longevity of the composite filling material make it the clear alternative to traditional mercury (amalgam) fillings.

Damaged Teeth
A damaged tooth requires treatment with a dental filling or other restoration depending on the extent of the damage. Dental fillings are an excellent option for repairing teeth. These may last many years before they need replacement.  Some things that can shorten the life of your restoration include clenching or grinding teeth, chewing on fingernails, or using teeth as a vice.

Worn Fillings
As fillings start to wear away, bacteria can enter and cause decay around the margins (edges) of the filling, and the filling will need to be replaced. In most cases, you will not feel any symptoms of leakage under a restoration until damage has occurred.

Unattractive Teeth
If you do not like the shape or coloration of your teeth, cosmetic bonding may be an option for you.  Cosmetic bonding utilizes a tooth-colored composite resin that is bonded to your teeth then sculpted into the proper shape. The resin forms a durable, stain-resistant surface that can be polished to mimic the texture of your natural teeth. Cosmetic bonding can eliminate chips and gaps, whiten stained teeth, shape uneven teeth, and stabilize loose teeth.
